Lee firmly believes students learn best when they feel supported and have fun. A top goal is teaching students to play with effortless technique, free of tension, with a variety of physical approaches. Lee has been teaching piano students of all levels for 6 years, believing in cultivating well-rounded musicians: not only able to play written music and lead sheets but learning and arranging by ear, and creating music through improvisation. He has cultivated improvisational skills on piano & harpsichord. He holds an undergraduate degree in piano performance, and enjoys a full-time music career: accompanying singers, choirs and instruments of all levels performing and leading choirs, directing his church choir. Alongside classical repertoire, he spent hours learning & arranging songs from radio, games, or favourite albums. Lee Stubbe (M.Mus, B.Mus) started playing piano when he was 8. Johnny is currently offering only online video lessons for the Regina store. He aims to show how learning music can enrich a person's life. Johnny is eager to share his knowledge and experiences to all his students, regardless of age or skill level. His fondest memory from his time down under was busking on the city streets and performing in open mic nights with his travel mates. During his two years of travelling Australia, he taught music and performed with musicians from different countries and cultures. He has performed in music festivals, cafes and corporate events as part of a group and as a solo performer.īesides music, his other passion in life is travelling. During his studies, he worked on skills such as sight-reading, ear-training, theory, composition and performance. He graduated from Edmonton's MacEwan University with a Diploma in Music, majoring in Composition. Johnny is a versatile musician with years of experience performing and teaching music. Johnny Javier (Guitar, Composition) Registration Request Danielle teaches piano at the Regina store. She looks forward to teaching students and hopes to help them find a passion for music. She is currently working on advanced levels of Royal Conservatory Piano. Throughout her studies in piano, Danielle has participated in many annual concerts, recitals, and even achieved distinction for orchestral piano in the Long & McQuade Music Festival. Danielle loved to involve herself in music based extra-curricular activities, such as Luther's annual musicals. She was also a member of the Luther College Girls Choir, Senior Choir, and Advanced Vocal Ensemble (AVE). Danielle participated in her school's band as a flutist. For the duration of her high school career, she involved herself in the Luther music program. She is a graduate of Luther College High School and currently attends the University of Regina for studies in Pre-Law.
